Before I took part in the Expedition through the Arctic, I had lived by a schedule. In the Arctic you lose sense of time. Having 24 hours of sunlight we could start our hiking at what we thought was 3 PM but it was actually 3 AM.
Our entire being was focused on one thing: survival.

a mammoth. I was afraid but I couldn’t run. And I couldn’t shout too. I have stood and the mammoth has stood too. Five minutes later mammoth said: ” You mustn’t afraid me. I was sleeping for a long time. But now I am not sleeping. When I was young there were a lot of exiting plants around me. These beautiful flowers were died.
And I don’t remember anything else. I know- I am alive now!....” Suddenly I heard a strange noise. I couldn’t see mammoth. What was it? Was it my scary dream or my waking dream?
