a bear. He was so little and defenseless therefore I thought he was very hungry. I remembered that there were some tined goods in my rucksack and I returned softly in our room. While I was looking for food my friend Alex woke up. After I had told him about the little bear he proposed me to inform Mr. MacDougal of everything. Having heard the news Mr. MacDougal decided to find mother bear. Then he woke up all our friends and gave us the instruction. Everyone agreed to help this family of bears. Someone gave his own food and someone went fishing. As soon as the little bear was replete we understood that there was the time to eat for us too. After sitting at the table we began the operation “Happy Family”. The title was created by the girls as for us we didn’t mind. Everyone was ready. Firstly we stood in a row and then we were divided into six groups by Mr. MacDougal. Each group had its own leader and a portable radio transmitter. We had to go in the different directions. During this search the groups looked in every pit. Three hours passed. Lo and behold we heard “We found” and we went to the appointed place immediately. Near the cave the mother bear with a wounded leg was lying. There was a wooden thorn. Mr. MacDougal pulled the thorn from her foot and bandaged the wound. We informed the people in the camp that we had found the mother bear with the help of portable radio transmitter. The group came quickly. Mother bear recognized her little son and it was so nice. The little bear ran to his mother, embraced her and lay down near. Everyone was pleased that the operation was successful. Late in the evening we returned to our camp being so hungry but not tired. Eighteen years passed since then but I haven’t forgotten these events.
