Before I took part in the Expedition through the Arctic, I had lived by a schedule. In the Arctic you lose sense of time. Having 24 hours of sunlight we could start our hiking at what we thought was 3 PM but it was actually 3 AM.
Our entire being was focused on one thing: survival.

a polar bear. It was a great surprise for me, as I had never seen a polar bear nearly round the corner before. We hag one another and I felt how my bones were cracking. I had said «Hello» to him and we exchanged remarks about the weather. Than we planed the activity for the whole day. The best choice was football on the ice. I wanted him to be а goalkeeper. He nodded his head. As we didn`t have a ball, we were playing with the can from condensed milk.
You can`t imagine how exiting it was!
