I am leaving. I want to see the whole world, make new friends and find the most wonderful place on the Earth and stay there to live. «Oh! » mother sighed and cried. «I’ll miss you very much, my dear little son! » The father bear put his arms round and said: « You are very big now and you can do what you want. But remember, whenever you are we’ll always love you and wait for you. Good luck to you! » Snowy kissed his parents and run to the ocean. Wave was waiting for him there. Wave is a big and strong whale. He was the best friend of the little bear. «Are you ready? » - Wave song. «Yes, I am. » - Snowy answered. And the friends started their way. They have been already swimming through the ocean for some days. It’s cold. Only ice and snow is everywhere. Snowy is sad. He began to think, that the world – is an icy-desert. And he was sorry that he had left his home. But soon everything changed. They saw an island. The whale and the little bear swam up this island. -«Wave, look! It’s the most beautiful place in the world! » - the little bear said joyfully, - «Look! What unusual snow is here! It’s green, fluffy and warm. It’s not melting and tickling my heels! » «It’s only grass…» the whale sneered, «There is a lot of grass there when we swim! » Wave didn’t lie. It is getting warmer and warmer. The sun was shining brightly. They met green islands oftener and oftener. Snowy stopped getting surprised. Now he knows, that beside the grass there are a lot of different and beautiful flowers and trees, there clean rivers and blue lakes. There are large continents, where a lot of animals and birds live. Snowy made many new friends. He visited them at their places. But he didn’t stay with new friends for a long time. Something called him ahead. In the daytime he had no time to miss but at nights he looked at the stars in the sky and the stars reminded him snowflakes. The sounds of waves became funny «scoosh-scoosh…scoosh-scoosh...». The little bear remembered his mother and father, he yawned and then felt honey asleep. Snowy began to miss his parents stronger and stronger. Once he said the Wave: -Look here, Wave. Isn’t it time to come back home? -Haven’t you found the most wonderful place in the world? –the whale wondered. - I think, I have found… - the little bear whispered, - the world is so large. I’ll always admire the world! It looks like…like Northern lights! It’s bright, striking and alluring. But there is only one place in the world where the stars always shine brighter, the air more transparent and fresher, the water is cleaner. It’s the place where we want to stay forever… It’s the place where you are waiting for, where you are loved. This is your home. This your native land!
