Before I took part in the Expedition through the Arctic, I had lived by a schedule. In the Arctic you lose sense of time. Having 24 hours of sunlight we could start our hiking at what we thought was 3 PM but it was actually 3 AM.
Our entire being was focused on one thing: survival.
That day or night (I can’t say for sure) I was on polar bear watch while the others were sleeping.

a little man in a fur coat, who opened the hatch covered with snow and climbed into the cave.
It was curious, because I’ve never seen this cave before.
l followed him and went down the hatch. It was dark and silent there.
I tried to find the way in a dark round hall.
This search made me more and more nervous, but finally the pass was found.
I led to a long tunnel, which connected the dark and the cave. The tunnel was under the sea, I thought.
When a long corridor ended, I saw a large cave with a chest in the centre.
I looked inside and saw an old book. It was a diary of the famous captain.
It was believed that he was lost in the Arctic.
I sat on the cave floor and started reading. I won’t tell you, what was written there, because it is a secret.
In the end I went back to my colleagues. They were still sleeping, so I decided not to tell them about my adventure.
When we returned home, I showed the diary to my family and told this story.
In our family this unusual finding is passed from generation to generation.
