Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.
"Nothing can stop me", answers Snowy. "I'm packing my things and ...

... leaving this boring place!”
After this words Snowy goes away. He travels about 3 weeks.
Then, one Monday morning he sees a very thick forest .
“Oh, what is it?!”- Snowy asks himself, - “I have never seen such big and high plants! Perhaps, this strange animal can tell me, where I am?” And he comes to a little Monkey, which is climbing on a high tree. “Hello, could you help me?Do you know, where we are?”-Snowy asks the Monkey.
”Wow, who are you? And what are you doing in the Jungle?”-the Monkey asks instead of the answer.
”Of course! I am in the Jungle! That's amazing!”- cries the little bear. “And haven’t you known it?
That's amazing”,- says the Monkey in surprise,-“as I see, you are from a foreign country, aren’t you?”
“Yes, I am from northern Arctic. I left it because I think that it is boring there. And now I am going to live here.
But there is one problem. I don't know anything here. Can you become my guide for a tiny bit, please?”-Snowy asks.
“Yes, of course, I can”,-follows the answer,-”let's begin the exploration of the jungle tomorrow”.
The next day Snowy gets up very early. He cries to the Monkey:“Hey, wake up, lazybones!
It's time to explore the jungle! Wake up, wake up, wake up!!!” When the Monkey wakes up, it is very angry:”Why are you shouting?
Don't shout! The Sun has just risen. It's very early. Sleep, Snowy.”
“Oh, but I can't sleep! I want to know all about the jungle!”-cries Snowy,-”please, let's go!” “OK, let's go, I don't want you to shout”. And they start exploring the jungle. On his way Snowy earns a lot of things: he learns about the climate in the jungle, about its animals.
He makes new friends: a little bird Kiki and a lion cub Yelly. Snowy, Kiki, Monkey and Yelly become the best friends. They spend all their time together.

One day, while Snowy and Monkey are walking among the trees, they see a little bird which has fallen down the nest.
“We must save him! Quickly!”-says the Monkey,-”we must take him to his nest. It's on that tree!” “But how?” “Don't you know it?...Oh”,-the Monkey says. And he saves the bird without the bear. And suddenly Snowy thinks that he can save animals too....but only in Arctic. He becomes very sad. He feels homesick. He says to the Monkey:”I want to come back home. I hope you understand me. Please, can you go with me to Arctic?”. “OK. I understand you. But...you will sometimes visit me, won't you?”-asks the Monkey.
“Yes, yes I will. Of course, I will.” And they start their way to Arctic.

When little Snowy returns back home, his mother is very-very sad. His Dad is sad too.
Snowy cries:”Mother! Father! I am here! I was so stupid when I thought that it's boring here!
Forgive me please! I will never leave my sweet home again! Oh....” And since that moment Snowy has never left home!
