Before I took part in the Expedition through the Arctic, I had lived by a schedule. In the Arctic you lose sense of time. Having 24 hours of sunlight we could start our hiking at what we thought was 3 PM but it was actually 3 AM.
Our entire being was focused on one thing: survival.
That day or night (I can’t say for sure) I was on polar bear watch while the others were sleeping.
I didn’t have to fall asleep so I looked outside for some fresh air and came face to face with a ...

an unknown animal.
It was strange: brown, without feet and it has two white long teeth which stuck out from his mouth.
And the strangest thing: it didn't have wool.
It asked: «Were you lost? » I had been frightened, didn’t answer, quickly ran to ocean, dexterously jumped, and swam as quickly as I haven’t swum before.
And not clear animal shouted from a coast: "I want to help you!" But I didn't trust it, and floated further.
I came to a coast. There were not clear caves and they hadn’t an input.
But suddenly someone entered into a cave having made an input.
I quickly ran and fell, rose and the input disappeared.
I wanted to dig a hole, but I was hungry and went to water.
I caught some small fishes, ate them and went further.
Suddenly I saw a strange, high block of ice.
I had been interested and I was going to look what was it.
But on the way I have saw some strange beings, and all of them escape from me on two legs.
I had come to a block and I saw some the same blocks, but they were less.
They blocked my way and I was upset that I couldn’t go further.
But when I had turned back I saw a big heap of fish and ran to it.
I wanted to eat one but I was caught by the same beings in forepaws.
They talked with each other, put me on an floe and pushed me in ocean.
I floated very long and came home. I was very glad and ran in a cave, but there was nobody.
I was going to find my family and when I found them, I told them a story about my adventure.
