Snowy

Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.
"Nothing can stop me", answers Snowy. "I'm packing my things and ...

I will leave this place for ever and nothing can’t prevent me from doing it.
-But where will you go now? You don’t know any place except the northern Arctic!
-Mummy, I’m fed up with this place. There are no friends of mine. I want to play, jump with those bears, which are open-hearted to me.
- Mummy and Daddy, I have dreamed so long to go to Africa, because this country is well-know with its sun and sand.
- Africa, who told you this? You know, Snowy, people will catch you and take you to the zoo.
-Zoo? What do you mean with the zoo?
-I mean that people will not leave you in freedom. Either they kill you or take you to the zoo. You will be there until you die. But I don’t want this fact to be happening, because we love you very much.
-Mummy, I decided a long time ago to leave the Arctic. Tomorrow the expedition aircraft is going to leave this place and I will go with them.
-Ok, Snowy, if you decided, go! But remember, your parents will wait for you no matter happens to you.
Next day at night Snowy left this home place with packed things and directed to the place, where the aircraft was waiting for the expeditors. On his way to the aircraft suddenly began the strong wind and snowed. It was difficult to go and see something. Some meters left and all of a sudden appeared a dog.

Snowy was so frightened and moved back. Little Snowy was at a loss and didn’t know what to do. I’m front of himself he saw The Shimmering Eagle.

The Eagle asked: “What are you doing here? What’s your name?”
Snowy answered: My name is Snowy, I’m going to leave this place for ever.
- Why don’t you like this place? It’s your home place and your parents, friends live here.
-I have no friends and that’s why I want to leave for Africa. The aircraft that has left recently directed to Africa. Please, can you help me?
-Ok, Snowy, I see your wish is very strong and I want you to remember that there you will face with danger.
The Shimmering Eagle and Snowy went up in the sky in the fairy sledge. Then they came to the place and that was Africa. The Shimmering Eagle told him: “This is Africa and here no one is waiting for you with a open heart and mind!”

-Ok, thank you.

The eagle said goodbye, and disappeared suddenly.
It was too hot and the sun shined too much and Snowy didn’t get used to it and he had headaches and slowly fell down. After he woke up, Snowy saw that some people were carrying him in a car. Не was sure that they were going him to a new wonderful and fairy place. He heard this word “Zoo” He started yelling and moved from one side of the car to another. At last they accommodated him in the zoo.
There he met new friends: lions, tigers, penguins and bears. Snowy was so glad to meet them and start asking how they lived here. All animals screamed in one voice: “We want to be free, we want to live in our natural area!”
Here Snowy reminded his mother’s words, that the Arctic bears should live in their natural area.
All a sudden Snowy began to cry and whimper, the strength of his cry was so powerful that Mummy bear felt, that something was going wrong.
Not wasting her time Mummy and Daddy bears went to The Shimmering Eagle.
Telling the whole story about their son, the Eagle pronounced: “I know the dream of your son and I helped him, but warning him that no one is waiting him there with a open heart and mind.”

Mummy bear was begging to help them.
The Shimmering Eagle took them to Africa to that zoo, where their son was living.
Snowy was so glad and ever didn’t expect that his parents came here.
They all embraced each other and came to a decision to stay here forever.
