Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."

I went to the shores of the ocean and I could see a huge floating piece of ice. I jumped on it and went forward!
Soon I felt very hungry and I looked in my bag and found out that I had no food.
Fortunately I could see a lot of fish swimming in the icy water.
So I tried to catch some fish, my first attempts were unlucky.
That was my first hunting trip. Then I got a very big fish.
I had a lovely meal and fell asleep. I woke up in the water, because my icy “boat” melted near the shores of a warm country.
I wanted to explore the beach. There were many unusual faces around. I wanted to say hello to everyone.
A brown hairy creature gave me a yellow fruit and a big grey creature watered me from his nose. That was very funny.
I liked my new friends and they liked me. I enjoyed that place very much, but I was very hot.
I couldn’t breathe and was afraid of the sun and heat. All my new friends tried to help me, they asked a long slippery creature to help me. They told me that they call her a wise snake. She said, that I was born in the snow and I will not survive in the jungle. I was really sorry about it, but in my heart I knew I missed my home already.
All my friends asked a big whale to take me home. I said good bye and went away full of happy memories.
Within a few hours I felt much better as it became colder and colder.
My mum and dad were happy to see me. I told them about my adventures and they said, “that my new friends were a monkey and an elephant”.
